Why did you choose speech pathology as a career path?
In college I was studying to become a teacher and took some classes in Communication Disorders. The field appealed to me for many reasons. My main desire was to work with children and I was drawn to the flexibility that a career in speech pathology offered. As a speech pathologist, I would be able to work in a variety of settings, with many age groups and with a broad spectrum of Communication Disorders.
