Idaho Distance Education Academy (soon to be Gem Prep: Online) is seeking a Technical Support Specialist. This is a full time position, starting June 6, 2019. Wage is $17.00 per hour. The Technical Support position will ensure computer operations so that users can accomplish their needed tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools including a ticket system, as well as require that the individual give hands-on help at the desktop level when applicable. The successful applicant will work from one of three I-DEA resource centers located in Deary, Pocatello or Post Falls, ID.
