Idaho Distance Education Academy (I-DEA) is a high achieving online public charter school for students in kindergarten through grade twelve across the state of Idaho. We are chartered under the Whitepine School District #288 and accredited through AdvancED. We offer a wide range of curriculum and course options to meet students individualized needs. Students have access to learning tools 24/7 and can tailor their daily schedule to best meet their needs. Parents play a critical role in their child’s education and provide daily instructional support. Advanced level curriculum and courses are available for qualified students. Free tutoring services are provided for students who are not yet performing at grade level. Our goal is to provide a challenging and engaging educational experience for every child.

Idaho Distance Education Academy is seeking an exceptional school leader with a proven track record of success and a commitment to educational excellence for the fall of 2016.  The Assistant Principal is responsible for coordination of assigned resource center, regional programs, staff supervision, and planning and implementation of professional development. Additionally, the Assistant Principal is responsible for instructional programs for students in their assigned grade levels that support student acquisition of basic skills and knowledge as identified by the Idaho State Board of Education. In accordance with the stated mission of the school, the Assistant Principal is generally responsible for serving the needs of students in the assigned region and for their assigned grade levels statewide.
