Job Details
Gem Prep: Pocatello has a temporary opening for a full time (approx. 35 hours/week) Special Education Paraprofessional to work one-on-one with a student. Wage is $12.00/hour.
The special education paraprofessional provides tutoring and instructional support to special education students under the direction of a certified teacher. The goal of the position is to ensure that every student acquires proficiency in the knowledge and skills identified by the Idaho State Board of Education adopted standards.
Parapro certification or ability to obtain required: High school diploma and one of the following: Bachelors or Associates degree OR 2 years (32 credits total) of post-secondary work OR proficiency on the ParaPro Praxis Exam with a minimum score of 460.
