The special education teacher is responsible for providing and overseeing instruction to students, which consists of both digital and face to face components. They are responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction, ensuring the success of all students. Data and collaboration are used to create a powerful learning experience for every student.

Idaho Distance Education Academy (soon to be Gem Prep: Online) is seeking a part-time (.5 FTE) Idaho Certified Teacher with Special Education K-12 endorsements. Position beginning 2019-2020 school year . Successful applicant will work in one of I-DEA's four resource offices located in Deary, Meridian, Pocatello or Post Falls, ID. Preferred qualifications: 3 years teaching experience, excellent organization and communication skills, experience with online course management software such as Canvas or Blackboard.
